Surah Al Qariah
(The Sudden Striker)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
- The sudden striker.
- What is the sudden striker?
- What will make you know what the sudden striker is?
- It is a Day when men will be like moths scattered,
- And the mountains will be like carded wool.
- Then, he whose scales will be heavy,
- Will enjoy a pleasant life.
- And he whose scales will be light,
- Will have his home in a pit.
- And what will make you know what that (pit) will be?
- A hot blazing fire.
