THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD صلى الله عليه وسلم – Part 6

1. Why did the Quraysh oppose Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم  more bitterly than ever before? 
The Quraysh opposed Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم   more bitterly than ever before because Abu Talib, a strong supporter of the Prophet, was no more.


2. How did an ill-mannered Quraysh behave with the Prophet one day? 
Once when the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم  was coming from the Ka’bah, an ill-mannered Quraysh took a handful of dirt and threw it on his face and over his head.


3. What was its effect on Fatimah? 
The sight of her father brought tears in the eyes of Fatimah.


4. Where did the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم  decide to go to continue his work? Why? 
The Prophet decided to go to Ta’if and continue his work there because the Quraysh were not letting the Prophet to preach Islam peacefully in Makkah.


5. How did the leaders and the chiefs of Ta’if treat the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ? 
They mocked, abused and treated him badly.


6. The tribe of Ta’if did not allow the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم  to leave the place in peace. What did they do? 
They stirred their slaves and boys to pelt stones at him as he tried to leave the place.


7. What was the condition of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as he sat under the shade of a vine? 
Wounded and bleeding, footsore and tired, shoes sodden with blood, he sat under the shade of a vine.


8. What did he do at that heart-breaking moment? 
At that heart-breaking moment, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم  raised his hands and prayed to Allah, seeking His help and protection.
